Open Enrollment Reminders
For individuals under the age of 65, open enrollment begins on November 1, 2024. Look out for your renewal packets in October. If changes are needed, please complete and return the attached renewal form to us. Remember, plans and premiums change annually.
Medicare Open Enrollment: Starts October 15th. You will receive your renewal packets in September. These packets will include detailed information about plan changes and monthly premiums. Please email me as soon as possible if you need to make any changes. I will send you a Scope of Appointment and a link to update your medications and pharmacy. Once we have the necessary documentation, we candetermine if you need to make an appointment. Please note, I will not know your options or be able to accept new applications until October 15th, 2024.
What is Christian Medishare?
CHM is a faith-based alternative to health insurance. It’s a membership-based, nonprofit ministry. As part of a biblical covenant, CHM members step in and help fellow brothers and sisters in Christ pay eligible medical bills according to the CHM Guidelines. Choose from one of four programs—CHM Gold, CHM Silver, CHM Bronze, or CHM SeniorShare™—and add CHM Plus as an option to protect against catastrophic medical bills.
Covered California Updates
For those with insurance through Covered California, remember to update your household income and size for 2025. Promptly report changes like marriage, divorce, relocation, Medicare enrollment, or the addition of a child. Email the renewal form with your requested changes for your family details. Please bear in mind that the penalty for not having insurance coverage remains in effect for 2024/2025.
Employer Group Plans
Renewals for most groups occur from October through January. Enhance your benefits by adding dental, vision, life, or AFLAC coverage. You can even change carriers or plans. Some workers' compensation carriers offer discounts if you have a group health plan. Reach out to see if you qualify.
